- Recorder uses two AA batteries (not included). VOICE OPERATED RECORDING (VOR) with high and low settings, activates the recorder only when audible sound is present, conserving tape and eliminating soundless passages. CLEAR VOICE sound system enhances voice quality during recording and playback for greater clarity. MIC JACK allows connection of an external microphone. L/R MONAURAL EARPHONE JACK provides sound in both ears when using an optional stereo headset. ONE TOUCH RECORDING for simplified, quick play/record operation.
- LED (BATTERY LEVEL) provides visible indication of battery power remaining. FRONT SPEAKER has excellent sound quality to monitor tape playback. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF at end of tape reduces mechanical wear and conserves battery power. CUE/REVIEW FUNCTION provides sound during fast Forward and Rewind modes to help find specific passages. PAUSE SWITCH allows for instant on-the-spot editing. STOP PAUSE RELEASE FUNCTION automatically turns off the Pause switch whenever the Stop button is pressed, to prevent loss of recording.
